Our Mission
We are committed to empowering minorities to overcome systemic barriers in the tech industry. With women representing just 25% of the workforce and Black women only 3%, our mission is to change this reality through accessible education, mentorship, and career development.

We envision a tech landscape where diverse talent is not only included but celebrated. By providing the tools, opportunities, and support to succeed, we aim to create a future where all voices in tech are heard, valued, and elevated, driving lasting change across STEM fields.

The Story Behind 3percentclub
Maria Ashby built 3percentclub out of a deeply personal understanding of what it means to navigate the tech industry as a Black woman. She saw firsthand how systemic barriers kept talented people from ever getting started, and decided to build the community she wished had existed when she was starting out.
What began as a small group of builders has grown into a global movement spanning 15 countries. Through technical education, hands-on AI projects, and deep mentorship, 3percentclub is producing a generation of founders, engineers, and researchers who look different from the tech world as it has historically been.
